Whilst most of the Belgians were planning their long weekend of Ascension Day, I was bound to stay in Belgium for work - until by some miracle, a colleague offered to take over my shift only days before the holiday.

Needless to say, I grabbed my camera, my fiancée and some film and headed out to the Alps, if only for 3 days.

My weapons of choice: the Hasselblad 500CM, the Nikon F5 and the repaired DJI Mini 4 Pro drone.

We spent two nights in the Chalet la Croix with a wonderful view other the valley and the Mont Blanc. Subsequently, we also booked two nights in yet another wonderful B&B: the Chalet du Bersend.
