Introduction

Your wedding is not a trend, and it shouldn’t be photographed like one.

I make editorial, film-influenced wedding photographs for couples who care about beauty that lasts - images that will feel as honest and as elegant in forty years as they do the morning after. My approach is quiet and unhurried: I watch, I wait, and I let your day unfold as it truly is, rather than staging it for the camera.

Much of that patience comes from my other life. Alongside photography, I work as a doctor - work that taught me to stay calm when everything happens at once, and to keep my attention on the person rather than the surface. On your wedding day, that means a steady, discreet presence you can almost forget is there.

My style

My colour images tend to stay realistic, avoiding short-lived editing hypes. I do enjoy adding editorial touches to more artsy poses or details to underline the vibe.

Old cameras, organic chemistry and thousands of rolls of film have influenced the way I shoot. Indeed, I love a good black-and-white edit, as this elevates photos to true timeless pieces of history.

I don’t believe in overly curated perfection, though. To me, it’s the unposed moments that make a wedding gallery feel honest. I aim to document your day in a way that feels true to you, with a calm presence and an eye for small details.

My approach

A good photographer knows their subjects. To truly understand who you are and what drives you, I believe it’s absolutely crucial to get to know you before the big wedding day. That’s why I’ll arrange a meeting (preferably in person) where we can discuss your thoughts and wishes.

Albums & prints

If you would like to preserve your photos in an album, that is certainly possible.

You can choose between a digitally printed album (via an external publisher) or a handmade album, a more luxurious and unique alternative - just like the albums your parents used to have!
