PhD Defense in Leuven

Documenting the PhD defense of a KU Leuven student specializing in cancer biology was an inspiring experience. Capturing this pivotal moment meant working in a dark, challenging environment that required technical precision. Using my Nikon Z9 alongside the 135mm f/1.8 and Sigma Art 50mm f/1.4 lenses, I navigated the low light to bring out the intensity and emotion of the day. The final images reflect the dedication and depth of the research presented, and I’m thrilled with how they turned out.
