The hay harvest at golden hour
The first day of travel already felt like quite a rush. We had to drive from Kutaisi all the way to Ushguli, high up in the Caucasus. Stressed to reach the village before sunset, we stumbled on this most wonderful scene. A few farmers, harvesting hay and stacking a gigantic pile onto a modest white truck. The silence, the warm evening sun and the endeavour of these farmers created a surreal atmosphere.
